 Gavin’s
surfing roots come from the shores of South Africa where he
learnt to surf almost two decades ago. After travelling for
a couple of years around the UK and Europe in 1995/6, Gavin
decided to relocate to the UK to develop a career and study.
After several attempts to live inland, Gavin eventually found
the lack of surf (and lifestyle) too much to bear; and thus,
it was Cornwall or bust! Now resident in Perranporth, Gavin
has since graduated with a diploma in Surf Science and Technology,
which brings with it the ability to give educated answers
to those curious enough to ask more technical surfing related
questions.
