 Nico
has been surfing for 11 years, and has been living in Cornwall
for six of those since relocating from Brittany, France. Having
learnt to surf on a longboard, Nico resisted the more common
route of most young surfers to progress straight on to a shortboard,
and solely surfed longboards for the first 7 years of his
career… becoming somewhat of a specialist. He also took
up  shortboarding
around 4 years ago… so he has an intimate knowledge
of surfboard dimensions and varied styles of surfing. In 2003,
Nico graduated with his degree in surf science, after which
he spent 3 years travelling and surfing around the world.
Now with the support of Beach Beat, and local surf shop Bathsheba,
he has since begun competing in the British Longboarding Tour,
ranking in the top ten for 2006!
